ENDSARS Protesters are not taken agitation lightly. The youth agitators will be sleeping over at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja to further press home their demand.

The protesters have been calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria and the leadership of the Police to scrap the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, without further delay.

The protesters, most of whom are Nigerians, while armed with placards bearing varying inscriptions, on Saturday, stormed the Police Headquarters and sought for an immediate proscription of the squad.

In a tweet on the verified Twitter handle of the Revolution Now convener and the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore on Saturday, the protesters said they wouldn’t retreat on the protest until government announce the proscription of SARS.

Sowore therefore begged Nigerians to supply food, water, bed sheets, mosquito repellent among other needed items for the protesters.

The ENDSARS campaign had begun recently by Nigerians who condemned police brutality, victimisation, harrsament, extortion and extra-judicial killings by SARS operatives.

A resident of Ogbomosho in Oyo State was on Saturday killed during ENDSARS protest.

While Protesters accused police operatives of gunning down the young Nigerian, the police denied.

The deceased has been buried.
