In order to ensure that these Christmas and New Year celebrations are devoid of cases of Police brutality and extra-judicial killings, the Osun State Police Command has trained it’s officers and men on how to be civil and perform with international best practices.
This came as the State Commissioner of Police, CP Undie J. Adie assured residents of safety before, during and after the yuletide.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer in Osogbo on Friday, SP Yemisi Opalola, the CP said that the command has put all necessary security measures in place to ensure peaceful yuletide celebration and co-existence.
The Commissioner of Police directed all heads of Police formations in the state to intensify security coverage to the nooks and crannies of the state.
