Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Osun State Chapter felicitates with Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid Kabir.

Osun cleric rejoices with Muslims at Eid, asks faithful to celebrate with the needy

A statement by the Secretary of the Association, Tajudeen Amodu and the Chairman, Timothy Agbor rejoices with Muslims for the opportunity to witness the period in spite of the economic situation of the country.

“We join our Muslim faithfuls to celebrate 2021 Salah festival. We also call on everyone to reflect the lesson of Eid Kabir which centres around perseverance, humility, patience and love as exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Ismail.

“As we celebrate, we should remember to pray God to bring an end to all forms of crises bedeviling our country and for peace and progress to reign,” concluded the statement.
