The councillor of Asipa ward 1 in Ife North Local Government Area of Ipetu modu, Osun State, Hon Idowu Afeez Aransiola has distributed exercise books to some schools within the council.
While dolling out the writing materials to the pupils of St John Anglican primary school and L A primary school, Asipa, Aransiola urged the beneficiaries to be consistent, regular and punctual in their schools and also concentrate in the class and listen to what their teachers are teaching them.
According to a statement by the Information officer of the Ife North LGA, Mr Olumide Felix, on Monday, in Asipa, the councilor gave the charge at the schools’ premises during a visit from the distribution of the notes.
He further noted that once they face their studies very well, scholarship is awaiting them.
Hon Aransiola said education is about teaching, learning skills and knowledge. According to him, it also means helping people to learn how to do things and support them to think about what they learn.

He said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. It helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows the difference between good and bad. Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop.”
The councillor advised the pupils to obey their parents and teachers because charity begins at home and he further urged them not to join bad gang and they should be focused.
Aransiola begged the pupils to prevail on their parents and guardians to vote the state Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for a second term in office in order to continue the good work he has been doing.
The statement disclosed that the councillor, in his philanthropic gesture, has been helping the people of his local government Ipetu modu by purchasing Jamb forms, NECO forms, paying some children school fees in higher institution and assisting the less privileged in the community.
The Headmaster of St John Anglican primary school, Mr T. A. Ademiju  and  Headmistress, Mrs Adeyemi  of  L.A  primary school commended the councillor for the love and the gifts he gave to pupils.
