OSPOLY holds 7th combined convocation on May 26

The Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has disclosed that the 7th Combined Convocation of the Institution would come up on Thursday, 26th May, 2022.
A statement released by the Registrar of the Institution, Mr Busari Salawu (Esq) stated that those who graduated in 2016/2017(NCE), 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/21 Academic Sessions of the institution are the graduands.
The Registrar also revealed that the convocation programme would commence with a World Press Conference that would be held at the NUJ Press Center, Iwo Road, Osogbo on Tuesday, 24th May by 11:00am, while the Convocation Lecture would hold the following day, Wednesday 25th May.
The Convocation Lecture entitled: “Green Entrepreneurial Intention and Business Sustainability in Post COVID-19 Pandemic Era: Issues and Challenges would be delivered by a Professor of Human Resources in Osun State University, Osogbo, Professor Dayo Idowu Akintayo at the Institution’s ETF Auditorium by 10:00am.
The Grand Finale of the programme, according to the release, would be graced by the Visitor to the institution, His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the Governor of Osun State. It would come up on Thursday 26th May by 10:00 am at the Institution’s Pavilion.
Various prizes would be given to outstanding graduands in the graduation years. National Diploma and Higher National Diploma and National Certificate in Education would also be awarded to the graduands at the epoch making ceremony, while distinguished personalities would also be conferred Fellowship Awards of the polytechnic.
