NWFL: Osun Babes Welcome Governor Adeleke into Office With a Resounding Two Nil Victory Over Royal Queens

Osun Babes FC begins the 2022/2023 NWFL Premiership season on a flying note after defeating their Delta counterpart, Royal Queens FC by two goals to nil in a cagey season opener at Lanre Leke Stadium, Ile Ogbo.
Osun Babes entered the game on the back of five matches unbeaten run without conceding any goal in the league since last season and are confident of winning from the blast of the whistle.
The first goal of the encounter came in the 31st minutes when Mariam Abdulkabir was brought down in the area.  Eberechukwu Oleka steps up to take the penalty and made no mistake in putting the ball into the net as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of the Omoluabi Queens.

With most of possession, Osun Babes had to wait till the 81st minute before netting the second goal through Faith Samson.
The ‘Omoluabi Queens’ used the victory to usher-in Governor Ademola Adeleke whose tenure has signified and portrayed a great fortune for sports and other sectors
Osun Babes will on Wednesday next week travel to Rivers State where they will do battle against Rivers Angels.
