Governor Adeleke’s Aura Rubs on Osun Athletes as Medals Keep Coming In

Osun Athletes at the on going 21st National Sports Festival tagged Delta 2022 have won nothing less than twenty five total medals for the state in many games.
Osun State have recorded five gold medals in total with Islamiyat Yusuf claiming gold in weightlifting, Titilayo Badmus in swimming, Odesanmi Kayode in shooting(individual) while Odesanmi Kayode, Oyegbade Ayomide and Francis Okwu coast home gold medal in shooting (team).
The latest gold medal was won by Adebisi Abdullahi in Long Jump (F12/13) men’s event.
With the hull of gold medals, it is widely believed that the aura of Governor Ademola Adeleke has rubbed on Osun Athletes because the last edition of the National Sports Festival in Edo, Osun did not win any gold medal.
Osun Athletes and coaches however believed that sports will thrive under Adeleke’s tenure.
Silver and bronze medals have also been recorded in games like taekwondo, para-table tennis, para-powerlifting, swimming, wrestling among others.
