Anifowose Organises Free Medical Care In Olorunda LG, Canvasses Support For Osun Governor

A young philanthropist from Olorunda Local Government, Alhaji. Kabir Anifowose has said getting the correct health services, screenings, and corresponding treatment are important steps towards living a longer and healthier life.
Alhaji Anifowose stated this on Tuesday during the one day free medical screening and drug distribution which held at Abaku Area Osogbo for people of Olorunda Local Government.
The power-packed programme was well attended by both the young and the elderly from Osogbo, Oba Ile Oba Oke, Ilie and all villages under the Olorunda Local government area of Osun State.
In his remarks, Alhaji Anifowose who enjoined beneficiaries to strictly adhere to instruction of medical experts on the use of drugs said he organised the programme in support of the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, adding that regular medic check-ups will help find potential health issues before they become a problem.
“Today marks 30 days after the inauguration of our beloved Governor, Sen. Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke and we’re grateful to God that our Party PDP finally came back to power.
“You would recall that the first point of visit of Governor Adeleke was the clinic, which shows that he values healthcare services seriously. This is why I organized the programme in support of the Governor.”
The Osogbo born Grassroot Politician used the opportunity to congratulate the Governor Sen. Ademola Adeleke, His Deputy Prince Kola Adewusi, the Secretary to the State Government Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, the Chief of Staff Alahaji Kazeem Akinleye as well as party leaders in Olorunda local Government such as Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, Alhaji Rasaq Oyetunji, Comrade Nurudeen Hamzat and the entire PDP for the victory of the party and successful inauguration. He called on people to support the present administration which according to him would bring all round development to the nook and cranny of the state.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with OSBC news such as Oluode of Osogboland Chief Okeloye Ogundapo, PDD Chairman in Olorunda Local Government, Comrade Hamzat Nurudeen, Mrs Stella Olatunji, Evangelist Emmanuel Olaniyan and many more described the gesture as timely and laudable due to the current situation of the country which has made if difficult for people to have a left over for healthcare purposes.
“I am happy that someone can organize this programme for thousands of people particularly during this period. The issue about health is very important but some.people die because they can’t raise money to take care of their health. This is why I commend the initiator of the programme for his magnanimity and I pray God to reward him in manifold,” said Comrade Hamzat.
Among the services rendered at the program were blood diagnosis, typhoid test, blood pressure, malaria test among others where required drugs were given to all beneficiaries for the cure of these aliment.
