Convoy’s terror attack: Osun govt sympathises with Zulum, says terrorists will soon be defeated

Osun State Government has sympathised with the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, and other bereaved families over an attack by a terror group on the  convoy of the state Governor,  leaving in its trail deaths and injuries.
The incident  happened along Baga highway in the northern part of the State.
In a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation for the State of Osun, Mrs Funke Egbemode, the government condoled with Governor Zulum and the families of those who lost their lives to the terror attack.
Osun government expressed hope that terror attacks would end soon.
“On behalf of the government and the people  of the State of Osun, we convey our heartfelt sympathy to Governor Babagana Zulum and the good people of Borno state.

“Osun government also extends its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives to the violence, and to the people who have been displaced by the terror group.
“We pray that God will comfort every grieving home and everyone who has suffered a devastation due to this unfortunate attack.
“As a people, our collective resolve against terrorism and violence remains strong, and we hope that this common enemy will soon be brought under control”, the statement read.
