Breaking: Policemen brutalise Arise News cameraman in Abuja
By Ekene Agbor

A cameraman of Arise News Television simply identified as Francis has been attacked by men of the Nigeria Police Force on Sunday.
This is coming barely an hour after the Inspector General of Police, IGP. Muhammad Adamu announced the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS at the Force Headquarters.

According to a video posted on Twitter by a correspondent of Arise News, Francis was brutalised by some Policemen when he was interviewing some ENDSARS protesters in Abuja.
Francis and his colleague had covered the police conference where SARS was dissolved and ran into some ENDSARS protesters. They were trying to get the reactions of the protesters to the scrapping of SARS before some Policemen swooped on them and started battering them.
The IGP had just scrapped SARS following reports of brutality, extortion and extrajudicial killings by its operatives across the country.
