Some gunmen suspected to be bandits have released all students abducted from Government Science Secondary School in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
 
The students had been in the kidnappers’ den for six days. They are currently on their way to Katsina.
Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari confirmed the release of the abducted pupils on Thursday night.

It was gathered that the heavily armed bandits had a smooth drive to Kankara where they dropped off the students.
 
The students were parked on pick-up vehicles.

The suspected bandits were not stopped by any security agents and neither was anyone of them arrested after dropping their hostages,it was learnt.
