
Public Service Games: LOC Chairman, Kolapo Commends Stakeholders as Football Semi Final Holds Tomorrow
The semi final matches of the ongoing Osun State Public Service Games will hold tomorrow, Thursday at the Osogbo Township.
Teaching Hospital Group will lock horns against Auditor General Group in the first match while OSBC/Information Group that ousted Ministry of Education will trade tackles with Sports Council Group in the second match.
Winners of the two matches will meet in the final while the losers will vie for the third place during the Grand Finale.
Meanwhile, Chairman, Local Organizing Committee of the Games, Mr. Emmanuel Kolapo has lauded all stakeholders over their decent conduct since the start of the competition.
Speaking with newsmen at the Olufunke Kolawole Resort Centre Abere, venue of the indoor Games, Mr. Kolapo, who doubles as the Auditor General of Local Government praised all Ministries, Departments a and Agencies (MDAs) for their peaceful conduct and the spirit of sportsmanship displayed in all centres.

“I want to commend all of you for the display of spirit of sportsmanship since the beginning of this games. The atmosphere here has been peaceful with healthy rivalry among representatives of all ministries.
“As we all know that the purpose of these games are to promote healthy rivalry, improve healthy living and enhance friendly relationship among workers and ministries among others, I want to assure you that the State Government will handsomely reward all winners, runners-up as well as dedicated and committed workers during the glamorous grand finale,” concluded Mr. Emmanuel.
Mr. Kolapo therefore wished the remaining four teams well with a prayer for injury-free matches.
