The Chief Medical Director, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Prof. Peter Babatunde Olaitan has said the management of the hospital has a desire this new year to get the hospital to higher heights as an institution so as  to make the lives of its  numerous patients and trainees more comfortable.
Olaitan in his new year message to staff, trainees and patients, a copy of which was made available to NEWS BOOM by Ayodele Adeyemo, Public Relations Officer of the hospital, said he looks forward to a year of great things to happen in the individual lives, families and the institution as “we set great and achievable goals for the new  year.”
New Year
In his review of the past year, Professor Olaitan said  year 2021 saw a modest progress with acquisition of hi-tech equipment,  expansion of power sources and many more with the support of  the state government and some organisations. Prof Olaitan, with optimism, looks forward to a year of better collaborations and cooperation with both government and credible organisations in the private sector,
While appreciating the efforts and enthusiasm of the entire Staff at giving the hospital a new profile, Olaitan said he is optimistic that all staff will put their best into the  system this year saying  “with your support, the hospital can achieve it’s goal”.
The Chief Medical Director wished the entire staff, students and the highly esteemed patients as well as relations the very best of the year as the hospital continues to enjoy the great support of the state government through the efforts of the governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola who has continued to make the health and well being of the citizens his priority.
