Oyetola’s aide condemns attack on Osun First Lady’s convoy

The Osun State Focal Person on National Social Investment Programme-NSIP,  Lukman Abimbola Bello has condemned the attack on the convoy of the first lady of the state, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola by hoodlums.
Bello made this known on Saturday in a press statement issued and made available to journalists in Osogbo, the state capital.
Describing the attack as unwarranted, uncalled for and an assault on the first lady, Bello said the security agencies in the state must ensure the arrest and prosecution of the people responsible for the attack.
It would be recalled that Mrs Oyetola’s convoy was attacked by some hoodlums last night while returning to Osogbo from an official engagement.
Bello in the statement informed that the convoy was passing through Owode-Ede market around 8:30pm on Friday evening when the incident occurred.
Bello who is also the Senior Special Assistant, SSA to Governor Oyetola on Social Intervention Programme in the statement enjoined youths and entire people of the state to eschew violence and anything that may lead to clash.

According to Bello, “people should stay away from anything that may affect the already existing peace of the state as our amiable governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola is completely a man of peace,” the statement concluded.
