Tuesday, February 21, 2023 will remain evergreen in the life of a popular man of God based in Osun State, Prophet Adeyemi Adeniran, popularly Known as Baba Lesekese as two of his children were among new students who were matriculated into the Osun State University (UNIOSUN).
News Boom reports that the cleric’s daughter, Precious Funto Adeniran Funto was admitted to study Nursing while his son, Boluwatife Blessing Adeniran was offered Mechanical Engineering at the state university.
Prophet Adeniran, of Great Tabernacle Miracle Church of God, a.k.a. Mountain of Change, Ejigbo Road, Ojo, Egbedore LGEA, was full of joy at the matriculation ground at the Osogbo main campus of the university.
According to the prophet, it was a huge blessing and fulfilment of God’s love for him and his family that made the admission of his children possible, adding that it’s a thing of joy for parents to see their children excel in life.

While praying for God to bless his children and other undergraduates of the school and grant them academic excellence, the popular prophet urged them to be closer to God even as they strive to make the best of their various chosen courses of study.
“I am very delighted today and very grateful to God for making today possible for me and my children. I congratulate myself, my children, parents and other children for being part of the amazing achievement.
“God has been so good to me and my family. I therefore return all glory to Him. I celebrate my children success and also congratulate them and their colleagues for this feat. I want to admonish them to be studious and come out in flying colours,” Prophet Adeniran said.

The fresh undergraduates, Boluwatife and Precious Adeniran were also full of happiness as they were formally admitted at the 16 matriculation ceremony of the university, saying that being among 6,750 newly admitted students of the Osun State University is a favour done to them by God.
Also speaking at the well attended ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Osogbo, Prof. Clement Adebooye, warned students of the institution that are of voting age against selling their votes and involvement in thuggery during the forthcoming polls.
The VC, who also warned the new students against projecting the institution negatively on social media, charged them to always make use of available communication channels, whenever there were issues they wanted the management to work on.
On what he expected of the university’s students during the forth-coming poll, Adebooye said, “our students should vote their conscience. They should not be involved in vote-buying because it is a crime.
“Let’s make this country work. The way we can make this country work is to shun all acts that can bring down the tempo of the nation.
“We have to make the nation work. Make Nigeria project work. Don’t engage in violence during the election. Don’t allow any politician to conscript you into thuggery group to terrorise other human beings during the election.”
He further advised the new students to be serious with their studies and prepare well ahead of their examinations with an assurance that the university’s management would remain focused on their welfare.
