Illegal encroachment: Call Oluwo and his agents to order, Olu of Ileogbo urges Osun government
TIMOTHY AGBOR, OSOGBO
The Olu of Ileogbo, Oba Abeeblah Adetoyese Agbaje, Arowookunjoye 11, has called on Osun State Government to ensure that neither the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi nor any of his agents or servants engage in further illegal encroachment of lands in the boundary communities between Ileogbo and Iwo kingdoms.
The royal father who spoke with journalists on the raging boundary disputes in the areas submitted that certified court judgements on the cases validated the rights and claims of ownership of Ile-Ogbo kingdom on the lands in question.

Oba Arowookunjoye 11 declared unequivocally that Ileogbo possesses all documents relating to its claims and noted that neither the Oluwo of Iwo or his agents have any documents to tender to the contrary, and if such exists, “we call on them to come forward, instead of engaging in speculations and illegalities.”
The Olu of Ileogbo described the actions of Oluwo of Iwo in the boundary communities as breach of security and threats to peace.
He however admonished his people residing in the areas to remain calm while all legal means are explored to resolve the issues in contention.
The royal father further condemned attempts to malign his character through sponsored media reports linking him to land grabbing, with remarks that land tenure and sales in his jurisdiction are being carried out in line with the law.
