Apetu of Ipetumodu tasks Royal Sisters group on growth of native town

A traditional ruler in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Prof.) Olugbenga Oloyede, Latimogun 1, Apetu of Ipetumodu), has urged the Royal Sisters, a women group in Ipetumodu to be more diligent and dedicated to the development of Ipetumodu, their native community.
According to a statement by the Information Officer of the local government, Mr Olumide Felix and made available to newsmen on Monday, the Royal Sisters group was inaugurated recently.
Addressing the women at his palace in Ipetumodu, the monarch urged the Royal Sisters not to fight, and that they should not allow money to be their priority because money is a dangerous weapon that can destroy someone’s life.
The Royal Sisters held its reunion recently tagged: “Reunion in Unity.” The monarch further advised them to be faithful to one another and to love themselves.

He said, “Reunions reinforce our common bonds, regenerate our friendships, and reinvigorate our spirits in appreciation of life’s difference but parallel journeys, and I want you (Royal Sisters) to allow peace to reign always.
“A reunion is an opportunity for the members to reconnect, celebrate  with each other and reflect on how to move Ipetumodu forward,” the monarch added.
Alhaja Fausat Oladapo, the president of the Royal Sisters group appreciated the support and royal advice and guardians of Apetu of Ipetumodu.
Oladapo said the purpose of the group is to bring themselves together, help one another and also to work for the development of Ipetumodu.
She said while addressing her members and dignitaries at the reunion, “The best message we can give to our society is that it’s never too late to learn and grow. No matter how old you are, you can always make a positive impact in the world, so keep working hard and stay curious, because the more you know, the more you can help others.
