Comrade Ebofin returned as President as NETNOS inaugurates new executive officers


The Network of Non-Governmental Organisations in Osun State (NETNOS) has inaugurated a new set of executive members on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo.

Comrade Michael Olusesi Ebofin, the retuning President was being sworn-into office with Mrs. Ogunrinde Funmilayo as the Vice President, Citizen Lola Wey as Treasurer, Comrade Gafar Lameed as Financial Secretary while Comrade Raji Ibrahim was also sworn-in as the Public Relations Officer.

In his welcome address, Comrade Ibrahim Olayinka who was the Chairman of the Election/Inauguration Committee appreciated the efforts of the committee members for a job well-done.

He expressed his profound gratitude to the invited guests in attendance, among whom were Chief (Mrs) F.T. Obilomo who is a member of the BoT of NETNOS and also the Executive Director of Caring Hands International, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Development who was represented by Mr. D. G. Iyanda, State Director of National Human Rights Commission, Mr. Akinwunmi Patrick, the Zonal Commander, NAPTIP Osogbo Command, represented by Mrs. Fibisola, Osun State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps being represented by Mr. John Akins, the State Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) being represented by Mrs. Olaseinde, the P.R.O, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu, the Chairman of Osun State NUJ, Veteran Journalists: Mr. Foluso Adedigba, Mrs. Akinjiola and Mr. Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu (Smollett).

Among other dignitaries in attendance were Dr (Mrs) Ayoola, the State Chairperson of National Council of Women Societies,  Pastor Tunde Odejide, Mr. A.O. Ibikunle, the former State Coordinator of NOA and Oluwafemi Balogun of National Human Rights Commission who also conducted the Swearing-in session.

Delivering their goodwill messages, the dignitaries pledged their continuous support  for NETNOS as an umbrella body for NGOs in Osun State in their developmental interventions.
