Governor Adeleke marks 100 days in office with landmark infrastructures

As part of activities to mark his 100 days in office, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has inaugurated the second phase of the 10.5km Osogbo/Ikirun/ Ila Odo road.
The governor also reinstated his commitment in accelerating infrastructural development across the nooks and crannies of the State.
 Speaking at the commissioning of the road on Tuesday, Adeleke unveiled another landmark, which is the second phase of the dualization of Osogbo-Ikirun -Ila-Odo (KWSB) road.

Governor Adeleke affirmed that his administration will complete the on-going project embarked on by the previous administration.
Adeleke said, “All the meaningful on-going projects embarked upon by the previous administration would not be abandoned, but would be  completed in record time.
 “Today’s event heralds a clear testimony of my covenant. I am further assuring you today that another phase of this project will commence immediately.
“I therefore want to use this project as a proof to assure the entire people of Osun State about my administration’s commitment to the accelerated infrastructure development across the nooks and crannies of the State,” the Governor added.
Also speaking at the event, the CEO of Sammya Nigeria Ltd, Sammy Adigun assured Governor Adeleke that the company would do all it takes in hastening the completion of the road.
Adigun stated, “We wish to assure the Governor and the people of Osun state that we are partners in progress and will put all our technical and financial resources to the successful of the completion of the section 2 of this contract which is Ikirun to Ila-Odo. Ikirun to Ila-Odo is a 20km dual carriageway which we are ready to complete 100% for the state in 18 months from today.”
