Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the spate of attacks and looting of business outfits of some individuals, politicians and government offices across the state.

The ruling party saluted the courage and mature tolerance of all the affected APC leaders for refusing to join physical issues with the looters and urged politicians not to be discouraged in serving the people of the state.
APC stated that the affected politicians’ exhibition of maturity in handling the flagrant provocation of the looters “made a didactic statement that it’s the owner of a bottom who would resist it from becoming rotten.”

According to the party chairman, thugs led some undesirable elements into some both private and public business concerns in some towns across the state where they engaged in looting spree.
He said offices and residences of some APC leaders and political functionaries were also not spared in the looting melee where several items were carted away.
Famodun who also enjoined the APC stakeholders not to be deterred with the unsavoury experience from the looters with its attendant physical attacks of some individuals stated further that they should take it as one of the prizes for serving the people.
“The political class of the APC extraction should not allow the latest political development to be a clog in their resolve to continue to serve the mankind.
“Kindly bear with us and continue to be of service to Nigeria in general and Osun State in particular,” Famodun pleaded.
He also empathised with the business community for their numerous losses in the state when their outfits were looted and attacked by the hoodlums under the guise of protesting police brutality.
“I will also like to commiserate with the corporate and individual bodies like Omoluabi Garment Factory, TUNS Farm Limited, Justrite, Fortunate Bakery, Osun Ankara, Osun APC State Secretariat and others too numerous to mention over their losses during the looting spree by the anti-socio-political miscreants who are fugitive to justice”, he said.
