Looting spree in Osun

Some rampaging residents in Osun state have embarked on looting spree.
They are burgling Government and private warehouses and carting away food items and other valuables unhindered.
Despite announcement by the management teams of some firms that they don’t house COVID-19 palliative, these youths stormed private business firms and stole their belongings.
These residents had on Friday broke into warehouse in Ede where COVID-19 palliative were kept and carted them away. Also, they stormed Federal Government reserve in Ilesa and carted away food items.
The looting resumed unabated on Saturday as some rampaging youths stormed One a private firm in Osogbo, TUNS farm and carted away some food items therein.
In the same way, these residents beseiged Ayegbaju International market, Osogbo and looted wares belonging to citizens.
They broke into traders’ shops and removed goods and other valuables.
Some residents of Iwo town in the state also invaded Iwo local government, looted it and reportedly set it ablaze.
Uninhibited, still, scores of youths same Saturday morning attacked the Constituency office of the Honourable representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal Constituency, Olubukola Oyewo and carted away valuables.
The youths took items such as fridge, fans, interior decoration, electronic gadgets among others.
