NYG: Governor Adeleke Lauds Osun Athletes’ Performance, Promises Bountiful Rewards

Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has lauded the athletes who represented Osun State at the just concluded National Youth Games which took place in Asaba, Delta State for a job well done assuring them of bountiful reward.

Governor Adeleke stated this in Asaba while addressing the Osun State Contingents before departing Delta State.

Represented by his Special Adviser on Sports, Prince Kolawole Adeyemi, Governor Adeleke said “what you people have done for the state is highly commendable as you’ve made us proud by winning medals for the state.

“I salute all coaches and officials for a wonderful job done on the athletes which culminated into the success recorded in the event. We say congratulations to you all.”

“I want to assure you that our administration values hardwork, commitment and success and we shall keep promoting and encouraging those who strive to make our state proud. I assure you that we are happy with your performance and we shall reward your efforts and success accordingly.

“We know the challenges you people are facing and by God’s grace, we would set things in motion to address all your challenges. We want you to compete more and win more laurels in the next edition. We want Osun State to be a force to reckon with in sports.” Concluded Prince Adeyemi.

Osun State coasted home a total of eleven Medals comprising of two Gold Medals, three Silver Medals and six Bronze Medals.
