The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Akoko North West/Akoko North East federal constituency of Ondo State, Hon Ife Ehindero has lauded the members of the party in the federal constituency for their support towards his emergence as the candidate of the party.
The position of the House of Representatives in the constituency became vacant following the appointment of Hon Bunmi Ojo as Minister of Interior by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ehindero had emerged the candidate of the party at a primary election conducted by the APC.
The APC candidate appreciated all members of the party in the constituency, saying that their commitment remains the driving force behind the journey to bring positive change to Akoko land.
He said, “As it stands, APC remains the property of all party faithful and we all have inalienable rights to call the progressive party our own regardless of our personal interest.
“Primary election has come and gone but it is time to forge ahead in our resolve to collaborate with other patriots to build a better Constituency which we can all be proud of.
“I will like to state that none of the aspirants of the party in the Federal Constituency was a misfit but at the end of the election, someone will definitely be crowned a winner. However, this is a win for all and not for Ife Ehindero alone. I extend a hand of peace and love to other aspirants for us to join hands together in winning the General Election and also in delivering the dividend of democracy to our people.
“The task before us now is how to mobilise voters across the nooks and crannies of the Federal Constituency to do the right thing on the day of the election.
“To the delegates who participated in the primary election, thank you very much for your efforts and sacrifices. To all our supporters, you are much appreciated. As we navigate the intricate landscape of politics, let us remember the essence of our mission. It is imperative that we uphold respect, peace, and unity in our interactions. I urge you to refrain from using offensive language on anyone regardless of their political affiliations. Our strength lies in our ability to foster understanding and collaboration.”
“In the spirit of true democracy, let our voices be heard through constructive conversations. Engage with your fellow constituents one on one and in groups, emphasizing the need for unity and progress. Together, we can build a community that thrives on peace, mutual respect, and shared aspirations,” he added.
