OSCCO rated most ethically responsible, corrupt free private school in Nigeria


Our Lady & St. Francis Catholic College (OSCCO), Osogbo, Osun State has bagged another national meritorious award as the most ethically responsible and corrupt free Basic Private School in Nigeria.

OSCCO is enlisted among the top (100) highly rated most ethically responsible/corrupt free Basic Private Schools in Nigeria genuinely committed to quality basic Education and Exams Ethics Compliance.

The award was bestowed on the College, owned by the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, by Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation, an international Non Governmental Organization that is focused on promoting ethical leadership, exposing corruption, ethical education and value re-orientation of global citizens.

OSCCO was honored for corporate integrity, staff/students discipline, Child Right Law compliance, Clean Environment fiscal discipline measure, participatory management style, equal opportunity for youths Ethical uprightness, CSR. Compliance, Quality Teaching Aid and administrative efficiency.


The Catholic College received the award which came alongside a corporate certificate dated 24th January, 2024 and signed by the Executive Director of the Centre, Prince Salih Musa Yakubu.

The certificate sighted by News Boom Nigeria on Wednesday, disclosed that the faith based school has Cumulative corporate score of 76% to emerge Top (10) in Osun State-Nigeria.

The NGO also honoured the Proprietor of OSCCO and Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, Most Rev John Oyejola with the award of Ethical Leadership and Conduct Compliance Certificate.

Bishop Oyejola was honoured and enlisted amongst top 100 winners of Nigerian most ethically responsible/least corrupt Professionals in basic Education Management Award Recipient 2023/2024.


According to the international organization, the religious leader was “Honoured for His dedication to quality senice delivery in basic Education, public accessibility, Self discipline, integrity, Emotional intelligence, time management sills, innovation, internal mechanism against corruption, participatory management style corporate policy performance, past antecedents, staff discipline, professional Ethics compliance and ethical uprightness, support towards hunger and poverty reduction.”

Yakubu who said Bishop Oyejola’s character rating is 77%, congratulated him and his school for the feats.
