A cleric, Prophet Adeyemi Adeniran, popularly known as Baba Lésèkesè, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. He called on them to be charitable to the poor and accommodate adherents of other religion.
Prophet Adeniran, who is the founder of Great Tabernacle Miracle Church of God, a.k.a Mountain of Change, Ido-Osun in Osun State, charged the Muslims not to forget the symbolic significance of the celebration and obey Allah.
In his message to the Muslim faithful, the cleric urged the faithful to use the celebration to pray to Allah to save the country from the resurgent COVID-19 pandemic, insecurity and other challenges facing the nation.
“Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, I congratulate you on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir and I extend the warmest greetings of the pastors and faithful of Mountain of Change to you all, both in Osun and across the globe. I urge you not to forget the essence of the festival even as you celebrate. Kindly draw closer to God in prayer especially in this time that our nation needs divine intervention.
“Also, don’t forget to celebrate with those who can’t afford to celebrate. Extend the love and charity that the festival signifies to them. Preach unity and peaceful coexistence wherever you are and and be generous in celebration. Happy celebration to you all,” the cleric said.
