Osun CP commends ENDSARS prostesters, says redeployment of disbanded SARS personnel underway

The Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command, CP Undie J. Adie psc has said the command has complied with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed A. Adamu, as regards the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
CP Adie, who appreciated and commended Nigerian youths for the peaceful protest carried out across the country and beyond, said redeployment of the disbanded SARS personnel is underway.

This is contained in a statement signed and issued by SP Yemisi Opalola, Police Public Relations Officer of the command in Osogbo on Sunday.
The Commissioner of Police appealed to the members of the public in the spirit of community policing to collaborate with the police by giving prompt and useful information that will promote security of lives and property in the state.
Adie commended all citizens, particularly those who genuinely expressed their concerns for a better policing orientation in an organised, patriotic and civil manner.
The CP asked the people of the state to go about their lawful business without fear of molestations from any person(s) as adequate security measures have been provided for their maximum security.
