Osun NSCDC rewards hardworking officers as Ocheja seeks better performance

The Commandant of Osun State Nigeria security and civil defence corp NSCDC, Mr Emmanuel Ocheja has implored officers and men of his command to discharge their duties effectively to fulfil the mandates of the corps.
Commandant Emmanuel Ocheja gave the advice during the presentation of awards to outstanding and deserving officers and men who distinguished themselves in the year 2021 at the Command’s headquarters in Osogbo, the state capital.
While appreciating the entire management and officers of the Command for supporting his administration to achieve outstanding success in the preceding year, the Osun NSCDC boss also called on the Area commanders, heads of departments and units to buckle up especially now that the country was challenged by the menace of banditry, kidnapping and other security challenges and lapses.
He stated further that the welfare of officers would be prioritized in order to improve officers performance.
A statement signed by the command’s public relations officer, Adigun Daniel quotes Commandant Ocheja as expressing displeasure at the behaviours of officers who are not at their best in the just concluded year.
Osun State NSCDC helmsman also encouraged officers to relate well with other sister agencies and informed officers that his doors are widely opened for suggestions and ideas for better performance and effective service delivery in the new year.
Responding on behalf of the Award recipients, Chief Superintendent of the corps, Fadare Francis lauded the state Commandant for deeming it fit to recognise hardwork and dedication to duties, he assured the Commandant that they would work harder to justify the Award and confidence reposed in to them.
