Prince Paul Akande congratulates Governor Adeleke over Supreme Court victory

A leading aspirant to the throne of Owa of Igbajo, Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State, Prince Paul Olaniyi Adegoke Akande, of the Looye ruling house, Igbajo, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the Supreme Court.

Senator Adeleke’s victory at the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun State was affirmed on Tuesday by the apex court against the appeal of the immediate past governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola.

In his congratulatory message on Wednesday, Prince Akande described Adeleke’s victory as the validation of the overwhelming votes and support he got from the people of the state at the poll.

According to the royal personality, Governor Ademola Adeleke had endeared himself to the good people of the state and that his achievements within few months of his swearing-in as Osun Governor have proved that he has the interest of the masses at heart.

“I, Prince Paul Olaniyi Adegoke Akande, of the Looye ruling house, Igbajo, join other well meaning individuals in Osun State to congratulate our amiable Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his well deserved victory at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

“This is certainly the manifestation that God loves Adeleke and he has been destined to rule the good people of Osun State to progress and ensuring transformation.

“Your Excellency, Sir, your victory is God ordained and it’s to benefits of all and sundry. For us in Igbajo, we are more than glad because we believe that this victory will usher a new dawn in Igbajo, especially as it relates to the White Paper we are anxiously expecting on the Igbajo stool.

“We have no doubt that justice will be done and due process will be followed in the selection of a traditional ruler from the rightful ruling house. We pray God to bless your endeavour in this regard and grant you success in office. Amen. Congratulations, Sir.” Prince Akande concluded
